GPS for Sports
This device is the logical evolution of the GRF1, with mainly technological improvements that have allowed its dimensions to be reduced to just 76mm x 35mm x 12mm ( 29.9 in x 13.8 in x 4.7 in ), along with an integrated antenna and a more efficient processor.
It is designed to monitor the movement of players on a playing field, allowing the recording of accelerations, speeds, and the extraction of relevant statistical data. Positioning is achieved via GPS, which, together with a three-axis accelerometer, provides real-time information to a terminal, uploading all data to the internet.
🔧 How it works:
- The system operates with a standard mobile phone battery.
- It receives coordinates from GPS satellites.
- It transmits the coordinates to a base station located within 1200 meters.
- The device also sends battery level information and can be remotely controlled from the ground.
- The base connects to any computer via USB port.
- Data is uploaded to the internet instantly.
- The data can be viewed on any laptop or smartphone.
- Reports and visualizations of the athletes' movements are generated from the data.
