Multi car sensor and actuator tester


The HMP1 born as electronic body throttle tester.
But early grown new functions without loose a friendly usage.
Thanks to the screen you can have a easy read of the sensors data.
With a Heavy Duty manufacture for a long lifetime.

Body throttle test

-Try the butterflies to open and close manually
-Try that butterflies open and close automatically
-Informs the state of the TPS1 sensor
-Informs the state of the TPS2 sensor
-Informs the consumption of the motor coil
-Allows open the butterfly for cleaning.
-Gene a full report informing:
-Full sensor movement range TPS1
-Full range of movement of the TPS2 sensor
-Maximum difference between the TPS1 & TPS2 sensors
-Maximum current consumption of the motor
-Consumption of sensor set TPS
-Detects short circuits.
-Internal thermal protection
-Helps diagnose mechanical problems in the body of acceleration.
-Helps diagnose sensor problems.
-It helps to cleanse the body of acceleration.


The following steps are what you must follow to test an acceleration body
How to use
1) Choose the correct cable for the robotic butterfly you want to test.
2) Connect the 12v and wait for the menu to appear on the screen.
3)
Use the "+" and "-" buttons until you see writing "THROTTLE " (accelerator)

4) To start the test press OK
5) During the test you will see numbers similar to those in the image.

Please note that:
Top right: TPS1 shows 82% open
Bottom right: TPS2 shows 16% of closure
Top left: d = 01 is the difference between the ideal and real relationship of the TPS1 & TPS2
Bottom left: Icoil = 0.46, It is the current current consumption of the motor. 0.46 means a consumption of 0.46 Amperes
6) The + and - buttons open and close the butterfly, and the sensors will show the new position.

The HMP1 will collect all available data
7) If you wish, you can press both side keys simultaneously (+ and -), the HMP1 will start an automatic test cycle.
This test will stop when you press any button
8) After opening and closing the butterfly from end to end, you can press the REPORT (OK) button and you will see the report with all the stored data

Reading the Report

Pressing OK the HMP1 will show a complete report with all the data collected, use the side keys to scroll through all the data.

Tps1

TPS1 report, you will see 2 values.
Bottom left The measured minimum value of the track.
Bottom right Measurement maximum value of the track.
Here is the minimum and maximum value of TPS1 as a percentage
(The number in the photo is an example and can change in different accelerators)

Tps2

TPS2 report, you will see 2 values.
Bottom left The measured minimum value of the track.
Bottom right Measurement maximum value of the track.
Here is the minimum and maximum value of TPS1 as a percentage
(The number in the photo is an example and can change in different accelerators)

Diff

It is the maximum difference found between the ideal relationship of TPS1 & TPS2 with the real relation. In this case the difference is 2%
Note that different ECUs have different tolerances, but all butterflies tested in phallic have less than 4% difference

Icoil

The maximum current in the acceleration body motor. This allows to see overload conditions

Isens

It is the current consumption of the TPS sensor set. This allows to see if there is a cut track
